In the wake of his success creating the block, Pepper manages to coax Tony into coming back down to the city for what Tony says'll be 'a few days, maybe a week.' Bucky wonders how successful she'll be at keeping him there, given that part of the reason he'd moved fully into the compound to begin with was evidently the strain between them, but decides it's not really his business.

In Tony's absence, Steve doesn't think it's a good idea for him to be too far out of reach, just in case something comes up that needs the Avengers. Bucky finds this out when he broaches the idea of going back to Virginia for a day or two, if they can figure out a plausible excuse. He encourages Bucky to go with Sharon anyway, though, and to have fun.

Bucky's not sure if they can get away with it, but there's no question that it'll be easier without Pepper and Tony around to ask awkward questions. Still, he tries not to get his hopes up too high when he comes to find Sharon in the office after Steve heads down for a training session with the team.

He raps on the door with his right hand, and waits for her to answer.

His smile flashes, quick and bright with mischief. "Good," he repeats, and kisses her once more before he starts trailing more kisses along the line of her throat.

It feels impossibly freeing to be tangled up with him out here in the fresh air and sunlight. It's nothing they could do anywhere near the Avengers compound – hell, she does her best to keep from touching him too much even in Steve's apartment, unless they're alone in his room together.

So she gives herself this chance, now; runs her hands along the planes of his body, sneaks one up beneath the hem of his shirt to trace the line of his spine as she tips her head to give him room. "Yes," she murmurs, lost in the moment with him. "Yes, baby."

He kisses his way down to the spot he knows she likes, teases her skin there with his tongue, then pulls back and sits up, straddling her hips and keeping her pinned in place. Bucky pulls his shirt off and discards it to the side, then tugs at the hem of her shirt as he smiles down at her.

She reaches up her hands to run them over his stomach, teasingly keeping her elbows low so he can't remove her shirt just yet.

"God," she murmurs, her glance tracing along every bared line of him as the sun kisses his skin and gleams off the metal of his left arm. "You're so gorgeous, Bucky."

The corner of his mouth quirks up in a wry smile, but there's something very soft in his eyes as he watches her watch him.

"You make me see myself in a new way," he murmurs.

"I'm glad."

Her hands drift over his stomach and ribs, soft skin and firm muscle, and along both forearms, flesh and metal alike. "Everything I see when I look at you is good. I want you to see what I see, too."

“Will you let me see you?” Soft, but sweetly hopeful.

“Here, in the sunlight?”

"Always," she promises, and curls herself up into a half-sit up to skin her shirt off over her head. She drops it to the side, letting it puddle onto the warm grass, and lies back down again, smiling up at him as the sun pours down over them, golden and warm.

The sight of her would bring him to his knees if he wasn’t already there. Bucky draws a ragged breath and traces a line down over her breastbone to her belly with his fingertips, lost in the way the sunshine illuminates her skin.

She watches him, her eyes dark and warm, and breathes slowly as he runs his fingertips so lightly over her skin, along her ribcage to her belly, goosebumps prickling in his wake.

Shifting a little, she arches her back to reach behind herself to undo her bra and slip it off, too, leaving her torso bare to him, her skin winter-pale and creamy in the sun.

Slowly, deliberately, he places both hands flat on her belly and slides them up to cup her breasts, teasing her with his fingers, watching how she looks in the light as he touches her.

Her breath catches as he runs his hands back up her body, warm fingers and cool metal sending twin shocks of sensation through her. She arches up into his touch with a small sound, her hands finding his thighs and sliding up and down them. "Baby," she murmurs.

"You're so beautiful," he tells her, as he brushes his thumbs over her nipples, coaxing them to peaks, circling and teasing for a few seconds more before he runs his hands up to her shoulders, then down along her arms, caressing every inch of her that he can reach.

"And your skin is so soft. I can't get enough of you."

"You're in every breath," she murmurs, remembering. She lifts one of her hands to take his, setting it over her heart so he can feel each beat against his palm. "Every beat of my heart. You can have all of me, Bucky."

His fingers tremble against her skin before he presses gently, flattening his hand against her. Bucky braces his other hand on the ground beside her and leans down to kiss her once more.

"I'm already yours," he whispers. "So you'll just have to have all of me, instead."

"Deal." She slips her free hand up into his hair and grips lightly. "That's all I wanted, anyway."

He groans against her mouth as she tightens her fingers in his hair and his control slips, causing their next kiss to be wilder, more passionate than he'd originally intended.

The sound he makes lights a fire in her blood and she whimpers as he kisses her deep and passionate, in a way he hasn't for... god, weeks.

He's always attentive, always sweet and generous and caring, but he's always controlled, too. "Again," she pleads, and nips at his bottom lip the way she sometimes bites at her own to tease him. "Like that, baby, more – "

The soft little whimper, how she bites at his lip and her sweet plea combine to tear through the way he's been holding himself back since what happened in the lab.

Bucky groans again, deep in his chest, and slides one hand into her hair to cradle and angle her head as he kisses her deep and wild, kisses her until they're both shaking, pressing her into the quilt with the weight of his body as he plunders her mouth with his kisses.

Sharon trembles wildly in his arms as he overwhelms her with kisses, as she drowns in them. She kisses him back with reckless abandon, traces his lips with the tip of her tongue, nips at his lip and grips her fingers into his hair, her hand hard on his bare back and her hair a wild mess of gold around her head.

Every sound he makes, every groan and caught breath, throws more fuel on the flames licking at the inside of her chest, and she runs her hands down his sides to the waistband of his pants, working at the button and fly with shaking fingers.

"God, baby, yes, please--" He arches against her, rolling his hips, coaxing her to drag the rest of his clothes from him so he can do the same for her, and kisses her again.

She shoves at the rest of his clothes, pushing them off and away until he's bare and beautiful in the sun, then leans back so he can access her own clothes, her heart racing in her chest, her breath coming fast and shallow.

"Please," she pleads. "Bucky, I need you."

He kisses her again and again, stealing each little sound with another kiss as he unfastens her pants and loosens the zipper, then eases them over her hips. He kisses down the line of her throat to her shoulder, first nipping and then drawing on the sensitive spot with his mouth hard enough to leave a red mark, then pulls back and strips the rest of her clothes from her and tosses them aside.

Bucky reaches down between her thighs to cup her center with his left hand as he covers her again and goes back to kissing her, teasing her warmth with his cool metal fingers more recklessly than before.

She sets one foot on the quilt to bracket his hip with her thigh, pushing her knee out to give him room as his fingers tease and tantalize her, her breath catching as he sucks at her skin and jumpstarts every nerve in her body.

Her hips push up, rocking against his touch as pleasure washes through her in waves. She can't keep from wanting to touch him back, and slides her hand down over his hip, reaching between them to curl her fingers around him. Any intention she had of going slow is obliterated by the way he's touching her; she strokes over him with trembling fingers at a searing pace.

He moans aloud and thrusts into her hand, then breaks their kiss to plead, "Take me - let me - baby, god--"

Words fail him and he kisses her again, pulling his left hand back and sliding it over the swell of her hip, into the small of her back, arching her up toward him and shaking with how much he needs to be closer to her, drowning in her.
