In the wake of his success creating the block, Pepper manages to coax Tony into coming back down to the city for what Tony says'll be 'a few days, maybe a week.' Bucky wonders how successful she'll be at keeping him there, given that part of the reason he'd moved fully into the compound to begin with was evidently the strain between them, but decides it's not really his business.

In Tony's absence, Steve doesn't think it's a good idea for him to be too far out of reach, just in case something comes up that needs the Avengers. Bucky finds this out when he broaches the idea of going back to Virginia for a day or two, if they can figure out a plausible excuse. He encourages Bucky to go with Sharon anyway, though, and to have fun.

Bucky's not sure if they can get away with it, but there's no question that it'll be easier without Pepper and Tony around to ask awkward questions. Still, he tries not to get his hopes up too high when he comes to find Sharon in the office after Steve heads down for a training session with the team.

He raps on the door with his right hand, and waits for her to answer.

She makes a small sound and shivers as his fingers grip into her hair and as he presses kiss after kiss to her mouth.

"Maybe we should move those berries again," she teases, before she kisses him again.

His sudden smile is absolutely mischievous. "Hang on to them if you want," he tells her, then starts to kiss his way down her body with focused intent.

"Oh, yeah?" she laughs, half-giggling and half-gasping as he presses kisses over her skin. "Why, are you planning to do something with them?"

"No, I've got something sweeter in mind," Bucky tells her. He kisses her belly as he slides his hands over her sides, down her body and under the curve of her rear, arching her up to his next, much more intimate kiss.

"Baby – "

She gasps, unable to keep from rocking her hips to press against his mouth. Her fingers thread into his hair, the blanket falling away from them as he moves and as she shifts, letting sunlight glow on his head and bare back, gleaming off the metal of his left arm.

He moves with her as she reacts, humming a pleased sound as he flicks his tongue against her and draws on sensitive flesh with his lips. As he does, he caresses her with his hands, moving his fingers back and forth on her skin and supporting her with his palms.

Sharon makes a small, choked sound and lets her head fall back, eyes closing as she gives herself up to the sensations he's drawing from her. Her fingers tremble as she runs them through his hair and over his head. "Bucky, god – "

He hums again, deep and intently focused, sending vibration through her as he licks into her. Bucky takes his time, paying attention to every small shift and noise she makes, every gasp and little cry, losing himself in her warmth and scent and taste.

When she opens her eyes again, the sight of him, limned in sunlight, is almost enough to bring her over the edge, and she whimpers as he hums against her, vibrations shivering through her. "Baby," she manages. "If you're not careful, you're going to push me over before I get my hands back on you."

Something wickedly satisfied flickers in his glance, and he gives a small nod without pulling back from her - then flutters his tongue again, harder this time, as he shifts his right hand to support her fully and crooks his left index finger into her warmth, his hand cool against her body.

"Ah – !"

She shudders all over, the muscles of her core tightening and relaxing in a series of shivers as her head pushes back. He's utterly ruthless and she has no defense against him at all, can only try to keep from rocking her hips as he drives her slowly out of her mind.

He adds a second finger, pressing deeper and retreating in a rhythmic pattern, careful not to be too rough with the strength of his left hand - or with the gentle edge of his teeth that he lets her feel against the swollen bud of nerves he's currently teasing with his tongue.

"Bucky," is half-plea, half-moan as she shakes. "Bucky, Bucky."

The press and slide of his cool metal fingers and the pressure of his warm mouth are driving her wild; her hair tangles in a mess as her head moves restlessly back and forth over the quilt as the pleasure builds and builds. He sets his mouth against her and the light scrape of his teeth with the soft warmth of his tongue send a shock through her. She cries out as everything goes up all at once, ecstasy rushing through her in a flood, her body shaking and shaking and shaking as he hauls her over the edge and into freefall.

He kisses her and holds her through it as she quakes and shivers and cries out, then draws his hand slowly back and kisses her inner thigh, then her hip, then belly, working his way up along her body in the aftermath until he can draw her into his arms and cradle her against him.

She curls into him, boneless and sweat-slicked, her heart like a hummingbird trapped behind her ribcage.

"You're very nice to me, considering I once called you a pain in my ass," she murmurs, drugged and amused.

"I like being nice to you," he points out, equally amused, and kisses her hair. "And I know I can be a pain in the ass sometimes."

"Mm," is gentle, dopey agreement. "So can I. We're a matched set."

His arms tighten around her at that. "I guess we are," he murmurs, sounding as pleased as he feels.

"I'd repay the favor," she murmurs, relaxed and happy, "but I think you've destroyed my fine motor control."

"I meant to." He tries to keep from sounding smug and thinks he manages it. Mostly.

"I thought I'd help you relax."

"Believe me, I'm relaxed. I'm practically a puddle."

He sounds so pleased with himself that she has to crack an eye open to study him, sleepily amused. "Look how proud of yourself you are, you ridiculous man."

"A little," he admits, suppressed laughter crinkling the corners of his eyes. "But in my defense, you're completely wonderful."

"Well, you should be," she admits, and snuggles into his embrace with a deep sigh that leaves her bonelessly relaxed. "High fives all around."

He kisses her hair again and holds her a little closer. "Take a nap," Bucky suggests. "We don't have anywhere else to be."

"God, that's such a nice thought."

She blinks at him, her eyes dark and dopey. "You wouldn't mind?"
