[Brooklyn-era AU] day by day, one cup of coffee at a time

The new apartment in Brooklyn's still too quiet by far, but he's getting used to it. Slowly. Still, sometimes it helps not to be alone with his thoughts.

He's also determined to get used to the noise and crowd around the bar again, even with the memories and without -- well. Dwelling on those losses won't do any good here, either. He knows that now.

Bucky takes a seat at the bar, grabs the cup of black coffee that appears with sincere appreciation, and settles down to figure out what to do next.
