[milliways] a moment's respite

The flat in Bucharest sure hadn't worked out, after all.
The latest set of scans looks good, Shuri had said that morning. The repairs are holding; the controls remain disabled. She's still working on something to eradicate them completely, but he's more than grateful for what she's done already. He just can't stop thinking about it, and it's too quiet here by the lake without the noise of a city to drown his thoughts, and at this point he's given up on trying to sleep.
On a whim, he ducks through the door and into the bar at the ends of the worlds. Coffee's probably a bad idea if he wants to sleep at all, but there's a lot more than coffee to be found at the end of the universe.
